YOUR TIME

BY DR. MARCUS ELLISON

The journey where God is taking you is not an event; it’s a process. This process isn’t easy; but it is necessary. John Wooden, the legendary Hall of Fame basketball coach says, “When opportunity comes it’s too late to prepare. If you want to be a successful leader, learn to lead BEFORE you have a leadership position”.

About The Book

MAXIMIZE YOUR TIME

The journey where God is taking you is not an event; it’s a process. This process isn’t easy; but it is necessary. John Wooden, the legendary Hall of Fame basketball coach says, “When opportunity comes it’s too late to prepare. If you want to be a successful leader, learn to lead BEFORE you have a leadership position”. It is in the preparation process where God refines, renews, purifies, transforms, and prepares his leaders for service.

While serving as an Associate Minister, I remember asking God, “when will it be my TURN?” I experienced seasons of frustration, irritation, and agitation; but God kept me when I wanted to give up. Looking back now, it was well worth the wait. Through the process, my faith matured, my gifts were discovered, my weaknesses were exposed, and my character was developed. This book will give some principles on how to serve with purpose instead of seeking a position.
